In this online age that we live in, it can be very scary for parents to know how to keep their children safe online.
The aim of this session is to inform parents and help them to navigate the online world when it comes to their children.
This session will include the main points:
- What we do and how we do it
- Research showing the correlation between time spent online and mental health issues
- Exposure to inappropriate content online – what the data tells us
- Grooming and exploitation – what the data tells us
- What does a child need to thrive?
- Our learning offer and possible next steps
It is open to MUMS & DADS regardless of your childs age, even if they are still babies, and is free.
It will be held at the Kilmallie Community Centre, Small Hall.
7 - 8.30pm.
