About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

This three-hour workshop invites participants into an immersive and approachable creative practice-keeping a visual diary. The session offers a "no-rules" philosophy that blends scrapbooking, bullet journaling, vision boarding, and mixed-media collage into a deeply personal, intuitive experience.
Rather than focusing on perfection or planning, participants will be guided to embrace a mindful and spontaneous approach to self-expression. The workshop is designed to be inclusive and beginner-friendly, welcoming everyone from curious newcomers (even those who don't consider themselves artistic) to seasoned creatives looking for fresh inspiration. Ages 16+.
Facilitated by Kathy d. Clark of Lace & Whimsy Studio

What the workshop includes:

  • All supplies provided, including a softcover journal, scissors, glue sticks, magazines, mixed media tools, and a wide selection of stickers from Lace & Whimsy Studio
  • Gentle, encouraging instruction on techniques for filling journal pages in a relaxed, intuitive way.
  • A reflective, creative atmosphere that supports personal expression and play.
  • A list of journaling prompts and ideas to use during the workshop and take home with you.
  • Each participant will leave with a meaningful keepsake that captures their current season.
