Choreography based on Kathak dance style fused with mainstream pop music and indian classical music elements, with focus on the technique of spins, footwork, graceful hand & wrist movements and facial expressions.
About the Instructor:
Svetlana Tulasi @svetlanatulasi is an LA-based Indian dance choreographer, and Founder/CEO of Svetlana Tulasi Dance Company.
She is a trained kathak dancer with over 20 years of experience touring with dance productions, teaching workshops worldwide and performing on television - Ukraine’s Got Talent, Russia’s Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, Dance Plus etc. Svetlana has a massive social media following, with her main focus on the style of Kathak Fusion - a blend of traditional indian dance with modern music & storytelling elements.
