Join the Kamikaze crew for the first outdoor round of the Kamikaze Showdown of the 2025 season at Cornerstone Park!

Saturday, June 7th.

5 pm-8 pm

Players will play 8 games to 11, with additional games played if you make the playoff rounds. After the 8th game, the winners of the top 4 courts at that time will be seeded and play an additional 2 games to crown the champions.

Win and move up a court, lose and move down a court.

Players will also split after every game, so you are always getting to play with someone new.

Players are encouraged to have a skill rating of 3.5-4.25

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

Frequently asked questions

What is the recommended skill level for this event?

We recommend having a skill level of intermediate-advanced, which correlates to a DUPR skill rating of 3.5-4.25.

Will refreshments be provided?

Yes! We will provide water and Gatorade, as well as alcoholic beverages such as beer and seltzers.

How many games will I play?

You can expect to play a minimum of 8 games, with the possibility of more if you are in contention for a podium place in the final games.

How does the scoring format work?

Seeding for playoff and championship rounds will be based the winners of the top 4 courts after the 8th game. From there the final 4 teams will be seeded and play in a playoff round, and finally a championship round.

Will I keep the same partner the whole time?

After each game, the winners will move up a court and split, and the losers will move down and split. This makes it so you play with a new partner every time.

What time do I need to arrive?

You'll want to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of play to sign in and have time to warm up before games start.
