What is Kambo?

Kambo is a traditional Amazonian frog medicine used for deep detoxification. It supports physical, emotional, and energetic healing, and is known to boost the immune system and restore clarity and vitality.

Is Kambo psychedelic?

No. Kambo is not a psychedelic. It works on the body and energy system and does not alter your perception or consciousness like plant medicines such as psilocybin or ayahuasca.

What happens during a session?

The medicine is applied to small, superficial burns on the skin. You'll experience a short, intense purge (sweating, nausea, emotional release), followed by deep rest. The ceremony includes intention setting, guided support, and integration time.

Is it safe?

Yes, when held properly. I’m a trained Kambo practitioner and follow strict safety protocols. We’ll go over your medical history and contraindications beforehand to make sure it’s right for you.

How long is the session?

Each private ceremony is about 2–3 hours, allowing time for preparation, the Kambo application, and rest afterward.

Sessions are held in a luxury jungle treehouse on the Kona side of the Big Island, with a peaceful, private setting and ocean views.

Can couples or friends do it together?

Yes. While all sessions are 1-on-1 by default, I do hold shared ceremonies for couples or two close friends. Reach out if you're interested and we’ll see if it’s the right fit.

The purge usually involves sweating, nausea, vomiting, or needing the bathroom—but it’s short and purposeful. Most people feel clear, calm, and deeply refreshed afterward.
