About this event

Music

Come join us at Caveat* for a night filled with laff laff and fun. Get ready to enjoy hilarious ASL improv performances that will have Alexander Graham Bell putting the candlestick phone on both of his ears!

Don't miss out on this opportunity to have a great time for a great cause — to laff laff away and to elevate more Deaf stories in the landscape of American theatre — a win-win situation.

This is a fundraising event that supports a new commissioned play called Thank You Ryan for a Clean Microwave by James Caverly and Andrew Morrill at the Shed in Summer 2026.

With the caveat, there will be no English interpretation. This event is 100% ASL and fosters safe spaces for Deaf and signing participants

Image Description (for the graphics):The poster has a retro, bold design with a teal-green textured background. Large cream-colored block letters with orange and dark-blue shadows fill the center, stacked to read “JUST LAFF LAFF.” Along the left side, vertical text says “ASL Improv Night.” Smaller white text announces the event details: “November 17, 7PM EST” and “At Caveat*.” At the bottom center is a vintage-style illustration of a man with curly hair and a beard, holding two old-fashioned microphones to his ears. A small digital-style “GA” logo sits in the lower left corner. A beige banner stretches across the bottom with the note: “*It’ll be livestreamed for all you couch potatoes out there.
