Frequently asked questions

Does everyone need their own ticket?

Yes, all adults must show their own ticket at the door. During PRESALE Priority Shopping hours, we ask that all babies and young children be either worn or safely restrained in a stroller or wagon. Tickets are available for older children 12+ for Presale Priority Shopping hours.

Do I have to participate as a seller in order to be allowed to shop?

All families are welcome to shop. You do not have to be participating as a seller- we are open to the public.

Are children allowed at the event?

Yes. Children are welcome without a ticket after 5pm on Wed, August 13 and on the Public Sale days Thursday- Sunday. Children must stay with a supervising adult at all times and refrain from riding and climbing on merchandise and playing with toys.

What type of payment do you accept at the sale?

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and PayPal. No checks please. Consider paying with debit card or cash to avoid the credit card surcharge.

Do you have shopping bags or shopping carts available?

Yes, we have bags to use during your shopping experience, however it is essential that bring your own bags, laundry basket, wagon, etc. to carry your purchased items to your vehicle. We will not be providing bags to take your items home.

Do you have bags available for me to take my stuff home?

We went bagless beginning in 2019. We will have a limited number of reusable JBF bags to purchase, but we do not provide plastic take-home bags. BYOB (Bring Your Own Bags!) Or a wagon.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You may either print your ticket or show it on your smart phone. We can also look up the purchaser's name at the door.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final. We do not issue refunds and will not accept returns. Staff is available to assist you with checking for game pieces, batteries, electronics, sealed items, etc. before you leave the event.

Can I bring my kid's stuff to sell at this sale?

We have consignor registration open through August 10, 2025. If you are a first time seller with JBF, we recommend 4-8 weeks to prepare your items for the sale. We are different from a storefront children's consignment store in that you get to price & tag your own items with our online system.

Is parking free?

Yes, the Fairgrounds has free parking. Keep in mind, it may be muddy if there has been recent rain or snow.
