Most people think of journaling as a "Dear diary, ..." entry. However, journaling can look different for everyone. In this workshop, we’ll introduce junk journaling as a creative way to capture memories using everyday items that tell your story. This workshop is about having fun, finding joy in small moments, and creating tangible reminders of experiences that hold a special place in your heart.

Laura has an extensive background in negotiating numerous multimillion-dollar and multibillion-dollar transactions and representing countless companies. She has an educational platform with online courses for entrepreneurs and ambitious individuals and is currently writing a book that explores the journey of growth and creation, focusing on nurturing the mind, body, and soul.

Flourish Coworking and Event Space offers a lush, inspiring, and dog-friendly environment to cowork, host events, and attend our community events. It's a space designed with our community in mind to feel like home, but better with bright lighting, luxury natural decor, and over 300 live plants.

What to Expect:

We’ll have everything you need, including:

+Magazines, stickers, scissors, glue sticks, tape, washi tape, and markers

+ A journaling starter kit to take home, complete with a small journal, a roll of washi tape,

stickers, pens, and a pouch to keep your supplies together

What to Bring:

Bring along any personal “junk” you’d love to incorporate, like a coffee sleeve or napkin from your favorite café, concert tickets, a receipt from a special outing, or even shopping bags and photos. Everyday scraps can become meaningful keepsakes. And if you don’t have anything on hand or feel unsure, that’s perfectly fine! You can start with magazines and collage materials provided. We’ll guide you step by step so you feel supported and never lost.
