Junk journaling is a creative and artistic practice that involves repurposing discarded materials to create personalized journals. These materials can include scraps of paper, old books, magazine clippings, fabric, postcards, and other ephemera. The goal is to combine these items in a way that reflects the journaler's personality, thoughts, and experiences. In a junk journal, you can write, draw, or collage, allowing for a freeform exploration of creativity. This practice encourages self-expression and can serve as a therapeutic outlet, helping individuals process their emotions or document their lives. There are no strict rules; each journal can be unique and reflect the creator's style and interests.
