It's a fun, relaxed event for junk journal lovers! The name "Junk & Joy" is a playful nod to junk journaling, and yaas, it’s all about bringing joy to our creative community. We'll be crafting, sharing, and making new creative friends. We’ll work on mini projects and enjoy time to chat and connect.

2. Who are the hosts?

Su Wu (@sudotwu) and Mara McGinnis (@mara.mcginnis), fellow junk journal lovers.  We are so excited to hang out and meet other junk journal lovers in Seattle and work on mini projects to spice up our journals together. Think of it as a mix of crafting, sharing, and making new creative friends!

3. What craft supplies are provided?

Your event ticket covers basic craft supplies, including scissors, tape rollers, glue, markers, stickers, fun scrap paper, and more. Feel free to bring your own supplies to share or swap! Don’t forget your journal—if you don’t have one, the shop may have some for sale.

The event will be chill and informal. We’ll provide time for crafting, chatting, and exchanging ideas. More details will be shared when you check in—just come ready to have fun!

Yes! We’ll provide sparkling water and light snacks, and if you’re feeling festive, there’ll be additional non-alcoholic drinks for purchase to get those creative juices flowing. ?

Yes, we’ll capture photos and videos to share on social media and for the memories. If you prefer not to be featured, just let us know at check-in—no worries at all!
