HEDCO, Inc. is a non-profit organization located in downtown Hartford. Since its founding in 1975, HEDCO has provided low-cost loans, grants, and small business services to minority and women-owned small businesses, and other underserved business owners, all over Hartford and Connecticut. Also, through our Business Resource Center HEDCO offers no-cost resources such as business assessments, credit and financial counseling, educational workshops, training programs (such as OSHA training), and access to incubator spaces which provide a fax machine, printer, secretary to answer phone calls, voicemail, desk space, and meeting space for small businesses who cannot afford an office of their own while starting up.
