Event Description:

Get ready for a fun-filled, tech-powered week at Wize Academy Summer STEM Camp! In Week 5, campers will explore robotics, coding, game design, and the exciting world of artificial intelligence. Whether they’re building their own robotic petting zoo, creating digital games with Scratch, or designing immersive Roblox worlds, this week is packed with hands-on learning and creative challenges that will ignite their curiosity and confidence.

Week 5 Camp Themes:


  • LEGO Robots & Mini Petting Zoos (Grades PreK-2nd)
    Dates: 06/30/2025 - 07/03/2025 | Time: M-TH, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    Location: New Hope Baptist Church
    Little learners will dive into the world of robotics with LEGO kits and coding blocks to create their own interactive petting zoos and quirky robots!
    • Morning Theme: Build Quirky Creations Using LEGO Robots
      Using LEGO WeDo and Spike Essential kits, campers will explore robotics and engineering as they design and build quirky creations like race cars and silly robots. They’ll learn how gears, motors, and sensors work while developing problem-solving and teamwork skills.
    • Afternoon Theme: Robotics & Coding with LEGOs & Micro:bit
      In the afternoon, campers will build their own robotic petting zoo using Micro:bit and LEGO kits. They’ll code movements, create lighting effects, and bring their animal friends to life through fun, hands-on exploration.


  • Robotics & Scratch Game Designers (Grades 2nd-4th)
    Dates: 06/30/2025 - 07/03/2025 | Time: M-TH, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    Location: New Hope Baptist Church
    Campers will combine robotics and coding with Scratch to create games and animations, gaining hands-on experience in design and programming!
    • Morning Theme: Engineering & Robotics with LEGOs & Micro:bit – Robot Petting Zoo
      Campers will build their own robotic zoo animals using Micro:bit and LEGO kits. They’ll design and code movements, add lighting features, and bring their creations to life, learning how technology and engineering work together in creative projects.
    • Afternoon Theme: Game Design & Animation with Scratch
      In the afternoon, campers will use Scratch to design their own interactive games and animations. They’ll learn the basics of programming, character design, and storytelling while creating their own digital projects to share and be proud of!


  • AI Storytellers & Roblox Game Creators (Grades 5th-10th)
    Dates: 06/30/2025 - 07/03/2025 | Time: M-TH, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    Location: New Hope Baptist Church
    Teens will dive into the future of storytelling and game design, learning to use AI tools and Roblox Studio to create original comics, videos, and immersive gaming worlds.
    • Morning Theme: AI Adventurers – Comic Quests & Video Ventures
      Campers will use generative AI tools to create their own comics, videos, and digital stories. No drawing or tech experience is required—just imagination! They’ll discover how AI is revolutionizing media, art, and storytelling.
    • Afternoon Theme: Roblox Gaming Adventure – Design & Code
      In the afternoon, campers will use Roblox Studio to design and code their own interactive game worlds. They’ll learn game development concepts, from designing environments to scripting game mechanics, and gain valuable experience in coding, logic, and teamwork.
