Joyful Workplaces: Book Talk, Networking & Community Conversation

Work. Workplaces. There’s always room for better, more joyful.

Who’s this for?

This event is for everyone. If you’ve ever felt burnout, disconnected, or overwhelmed, this is for you. Joyful Workplaces isn’t just a book. It’s a movement that helps people at all levels of an organization, and in any role create spaces where everyone throughout the workplace works together to achieve results.

Work shouldn’t feel dreadful. It should feel purposeful. And business results can improve when workplaces are more joyful.

What’s the location?

Join me at 1100 Wicomico (Baltimore Innovation Center) in Baltimore, Maryland for a morning of community, conversation, and inspiration.

We’ll explore what it takes to build workplaces that balance people and performance. Everyone, no matter their role, has a part to play in making work better.

What’s included?

You can choose an entry-only ticket or a ticket that includes a signed copy of the book. All tickets include a mocktail, and light bites from a local Baltimore caterer.

Whether you lead teams, run a business, or simply want to rediscover meaning in your day-to-day work, you’ll leave with inspiration, ideas, and a playbook for what’s possible.

Come and stay as you can

Come when you can, stay as long as you’d like, and join a conversation that reinforces that work can be both purposeful and joyful while still achieving results.

About the Book

What if the benefits of joy were not only greater well-being, but also increased productivity, lower turnover, and stronger retention? What if joy fueled business results just as much as it supported people?

In a time when disengagement and burnout are at historic highs, organizations cannot afford to ignore what truly drives performance. Joyful Workplaces challenges the outdated belief that numbers matter more than people. Drawing on research and more than twenty years of experience in consulting, talent development, organizational development, and psychology, Yolanda Fraction shows that joy is the missing link between engagement and results.

- Through stories, research, and practical insights, you will learn how to:
- Strengthen retention by creating environments where people want to stay
- Increase productivity by building systems that energize rather than drain
- Reduce burnout with strategies that restore resilience across teams
- Unlock performance by aligning people’s strengths with organizational goals

This is not another book about quick fixes or toxic positivity. It is a roadmap for leaders, managers, and anyone who wants to build workplaces that are both human and high-performing.
