Join us at 2 Royal Ave for a fun-filled event where you'll learn how to create your very own stickers from scratch. No experience needed.
This workshop is all about creativity, expression, and fun. Participants will learn how to design and make their own hand-drawn vinyl stickers using simple tools and materials.
It's not about being "good at art" – it’s about giving yourself permission to create freely, to play, and to express something personal. I will give mindfulness related prompts but there is no pressure to follow these prompts - people can come with an idea or come up an idea in the workshop.
Everyone will leave with a handful of their own stickers, plus the skills and confidence to keep making more at home.
I began making stickers during a time when I was experiencing autistic burnout. I felt overwhelmed and creatively blocked, believing that every piece I made had to be impressive or ‘perfect’ to be worthwhile. That changed when I attended abstract art classes at the Crescent Arts Centre. There, I reconnected with the joy of simply creating. Sticker-making became an accessible and fulfilling outlet. It helped me reduce stress, express my emotions, and feel proud of my art again.
I want to share that experience with others—especially those who, like me, are neurodivergent, struggling with mental health, or just want to reconnect with art in a joyful and personal way. This workshop is open to anyone. Whether you’re an artist or a complete beginner, all you need is a curiosity to try something new.
