Where the inner world awakens

JourneyDance: Mystical Magical is a movement journey into that liminal space where embodiment meets enchantment, and where your inner world is alive with new awareness, sensation, and delight.

Whether you're a seasoned ecstatic dancer or someone who finds structure and facilitated connection supports you, this night offers a grounded and playful container to explore the magic inside your body. Through guided visualizations, music-inspired movement, optional connective exercises, and plenty of free-form expression, we’ll move through a wave of inner landscapes that awaken curiosity and wonder.

Here we hold the intention of letting movement reveal what’s already inside: your instincts, your imagination, your subtle energy, your spark.

No choreography. No mirrors. No judgment.
Just rhythm, breath, and a night of embodied magic.

Bring your longing, your heaviness, your joy, your weirdness, your glow; whatever’s true for you. Your body knows the way.

Expect:
– Guided (optional) visualizations to spark imagination and inner revitalization

– Guided (optional) movement that dissolves self-consciousness and invites you into a state of embodied curiosity
– A JourneyDance™ flow with optional playful connection exercises (including a gentle taste of contact)
– Space for free-form movement to follow your own magic at your own pace
– Somatic grounding practices to access subtle awareness and intuitive movement
– A held, reverent container that welcomes the full spectrum: soft, wild, quiet, expressive
– Respect for your boundaries, choices, and unique energetic limits
– A “dance alone” wristband for those preferring non-contact
– A distraction-free dance floor: no phones, no conversations
– A community that honors consent, sovereignty, and the mystery inside each of us

–Space for to take breaks, make art, rest, and have quiet conversations

Abundance Table – A Gift Exchange of Generosity & Flow
Before we step onto the dance floor, from 6:50–7:20pm, you’re invited to visit our Abundance Table - a Buy-Nothing style exchange (in the back library space) where we celebrate the spirit of generosity, community, and conscious receiving. Bring gently loved clothing, books, meaningful objects, or treasures you'd be delighted to pass forward, and take home whatever calls to you — no expectation, only flow. This is a space for gifts to find new homes, for stories to be shared, and for abundance to move through our circle. Please take home any items you brought that are not chosen so we leave the space as clear and cared for as we found it.
