About this event

Health • Yoga

As the veil thins and the shadows lengthen, you are dared to dance with what hides beneath the surface. Not to fix or banish it; You'll be invited to meet your hidden shadows with curiosity, compassion, presence, and movement. This special JourneyDance™ ritual is a guided embodiment experience to explore your “dark side” - think: fierce, messy, ugly, ridiculous, or forbidden parts of you longing to be witnessed and welcomed home. Inspired by the Tibetan Buddhist practice Feeding Your Demons, we’ll alchemize shadow into freedom, shame into power, and fear into presence. In the spirit of the season, come dressed (if you wish!) as your hideous, villainous, or untamed self - an expression of your inner archetype or "monster" within. Let persona play become a sacred act of wholeness.Expect:
– Guided movement & embodied ritual
– Witchy, cinematic music for shadow alchemy
– A held container and playful space for liberation & self-approvalNo choreography. No mirrors. No judgment.
Just music, breath, and your body’s truth. All bodies & genders welcome.
Facilitated by Sandra Rose, a somatic guide devoted to helping humans return home to their body, power, and wholeness.
