Under the baton of renowned composer and maestro Jarrod Radnich, JPHIL offers a unique experience in which, for each musical selection, each musician's individual part is specially orchestrated to highlight the strengths of that musician. The upcoming concert series, A Medieval Christmas, will run December 11-14, 2025, showcasing an unforgettable blend of artistry and imagination. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings beginning October 6 with additional rehearsals the week of performance.
Musicians of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply and become a part of one of the Southern California Desert’s most dynamic musical ensembles.

About the JPHIL
Celebrating excellance for over 20 years, the Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s Joshua Tree Philharmonic (JPHIL) is an innovative, professionally-minded, inter-generational orchestra comprising of over 60 musicians from the Southern California desert area. Formed and led by renowned composer and pianist, Jarrod Radnich, the philharmonic is a mix of professional and highly dedicated amateur/student musicians. The philharmonic rehearses and performs a wide variety of musical styles from popular, classical, jazz, world, and more. Many of the musicians mentor young members and provide valuable guidance in ensemble performance. The concerts also provide an important educational opportunity for the local residents, many who would not otherwise have access to live orchestral music and instruments.
