Jon Langford & Sally Timms

Sally Timms and Jon Langford explore their long collaboration as Mekons (and far beyond) with the help of actual musicians hired at great expense who are willing and able to whip this pair into shape.

Jon Langford co-founded punk band The Mekons at the University of Leeds in 1977. Vocalist Sally Timms joined in 1986. Since then they’ve continued to work with mekons and on a host of solo projects melding country, punk, and commentary. Both currently based in Chicago, they remain frequent collaborators.
