Join us for an exciting event that will bring together computational scientists across Belgium and the UK in the field of life sciences and technology. The Joint VIB-UAntwerp - Babraham Institute – Newcastle University Hackathon is your chance to collaborate and innovate in a vibrant stress-free space!
Starting on Monday September 8th, 2025, this 3-day in-person event will take place at

Whether you're an advanced coder or a beginner, this hackathon is open to everyone! Lead on your own project or join a team, and tackle challenges that span a wide range of topics, including genomics, bioinformatics, data analysis, and more. The hackathon will run for ~8h a day and will also include mini-challenges as well as a welcome dinner and a quiz&pizza event.
