Overview
Recruitment Requirements
l Basic Requirement: Under 35 years old, energetic, able to adapt to the high-intensity pace of camp work, and willing to integrate into group living.
l Communication: Excellent communication skills, approachable and patient, with a willingness to engage with adolescents.
l Background: Good background, able to actively cooperate in completing necessary qualification reviews and work visa application processes.
Background Requirements
l Educational Background: Must hold a bachelor’s or higher degree from the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge. (Graduated with a bachelor’s degree for more than 2 years, or currently pursuing a master’s/Ph.D. degree.)
Job Description
l Location:Nanjing, China
l Work Period(s) (Choosetwo periods):
Period 1: February 2, 2025–February 7, 2025 (6 days)
Period 2: February 8, 2025–February 13, 2025 (6 days)
Period 3: February 22, 2025–February 27, 2025 (6 days)
l In-Camp Teaching Hours: Approximately 3-4hrs daily.
Core Responsibilities (Teaching):
l Conduct 3-4hours of themed coursesdaily.
l Teaching content is based on the provided lesson plans (refer to the schedule below), with room for appropriate supplementation. Encouraged to deliver in a relaxed and engaging manner.
Auxiliary Responsibilities (Companionship):
Accompany campers during non-teaching hours (e.g., camp activities, outings, meals, transportation etc.) and engage in natural, friendly interactions.
Teaching Content Reference (Based on Attached Schedule):
l Authentic British Simulation Classes:
Topics include decoding British ancient architecture, the British elite education system, Shakespearean drama and British literature, social etiquette for junior diplomats at Western-style banquets, etc.
l Peer Learning and Expression:
Topics such as comparing eight major British cities with Chinese cultural cities, sharing personal study abroad preparation plans, etc.
l PBL Projects/Cultural Introductions:
Topics such as the art of garden landscaping, bilingual introductions to food culture, etc.
Remuneration
Two-Periods: GBP 1,400
Additional Support:
Return tickets for International flights
Airport pick-up and drop-off services provided for supervisors.
Standard meals and accommodation (twin room) provided during the camp period.
