Join us for our Open African Dance & Drum Classes! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just looking to have fun, this is the place to be. Drum classes instructed by master musician Papa Bargo. Papa Bargo is a percussionist and teacher with a Fine Arts and Education degree from Southern Illinois University and Harris Stowe College in St. Louis, Missouri. He studied and taught music for twenty years at the Katherine Dunham Center for the Performing Arts and toured extensively with Katherine Dunham Dance Company. Presently, he is teaching for Giot Arts Ensemble in Atlanta and the Atlanta City School System.
