Join us for December's Tea & Talk Book Group!
We close out the year with fellowship and reflection on the wisdom of Sr. Kathleen Osbelt. Join us as we discuss and reflect on her stories, spirituality, and the deep compassion so evident in her writing and her life.
“The reflections in this book are offered to open your mind, whet your spiritual appetite, and give you a desire for the “more,” the more of who you really are beneath the crust of your being, and the goodness that lies within.” – Sr. Kathleen Osbelt
“Kathleen has captured, as few have, the message that I believe God sends to us every day - " I love you and have taken up residence inside you." The pages of this book will captivate the mind of anyone searching for meaning in this world, and a loving relationship forever.
We search and search for that which will make us happy, and all along, it has been within us - all we need to do is stop and celebrate it.” Robert, a review on Amazon.com
BIO: Sister Kathleen Osbelt, OSF, began her ministry of service to others as an elementary school teacher, and then as Pastoral Minister at St. Joseph Hospital Health Center and General Secretary for the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities. Sister Kathleen felt strongly called to the ministry of caring for the terminally ill and comforting the families of those who love them. In 1991, together with a strong community of supporters, she founded Francis House, a home for the terminally ill. Over the last 34 years, Francis House has cared for more than 4000 residents at the end of life.
