American voting rights have been under attack for decades.

Following the record-breaking Black, Brown and Youth voter turnout in the Georgia Runoff election, state legislatures across America released an offensive onslaught of undemocratic legislation designed to specifically suppress the vote of the community of color.

Join the WI John Lewis Voter Rights Coalition to connect with activists across the nation and learn more about the John Lewis Voting Right Advancement event, which will aim to protect Americans’ civil and voting rights. The DAY of SERVICE will be May 8th in Milwaukee.

The mobilization will focus on the For the People Act (S1) and House Resolution 4 (HR4), which are two pieces of legislation that can help dismantle voter suppression legislation throughout America.

We will also educate & address the recent renewed WI legislation proposed to restrict Voting Rights for individuals in our home state of WISCONSIN.
