About this event
JOGL Africa: Building and supporting a vibrant community of open science contributors in Africa
Join us this Wednesday, July 21st for the introductory event of our new regional program, JOGL Africa.
By building and supporting a vibrant community of contributors, JOGL Africa will spread and support the tenets of open science and sustainable development in a still yet-unseen manner on the African continent.
A very first step, this meeting will begin the JOGL Africa journey: we will bring together and consult with interested stakeholders, enjoy presentations on JOGL and JOGL Africa, and offer activities and exercises aimed at better understanding the challenges and aspirations of open science and tech in Africa.
JOGL Africa is JOGL’s first ever regionally focused initiative and we are thrilled to begin sharing our work with the outside community.
