Jeff Libman with Max Morton

By Uncommon Ground

Overview

This is an intimate, seated dinner show featuring Jeff Libman with Max Morton!

Musically, Jeff's highest aspirations were always to be a singer-songwriter busking on the streets, which is where you’ll most likely find him performing today in Chicago or Evanston, Illinois as well as the streets of Málaga, Spain, a city that has enchanted him with magical and mystical moments since he landed there in 2024. His days of performing with his bands Check With Lucy or The Jujus are mostly in the past. He prefers the intimacy, connectivity and serendipity of performing on the street by himself or with his Málaga band The Zulies.

When he's home, he performs at lunch every Friday either inside or outside the Potbelly Sandwich shop in Evanston, IL. His 15-minutes of fame lasted only 5 seconds as the composer and singer of the original radio jingle for Potbelly. He still has 14 minutes and 55 seconds left, which he still hopes he can live out returning to the Ravinia Festival to play one day decades after he worked there as a bus boy as a teenager.
