Jeans Jacket Hack it

Description: Learn how to add quilted and vintage fabrics to jean jackets to create a custom piece of clothing you’ll treasure for years to come! In this beginner-friendly class you’ll learn how to compose a cohesive garment, adhere and sew fabric panels to jean, and how to include vintage materials in your projects. Quilted panels, vintage fabrics, scraps, fabric adhesives, and patches are included with the materials fee. Participants can bring their own jackets or purchase one during the class. At the end of this class you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind up cycled jean jacket!

Instructors: Stephanie and Bre are avid sewists who create custom denim jacket dreams for folks in RVA.

Supplies Needed:-Sewing Machine-Assorted thread-Scissors-Hand sewing needles-Jean jacket (or it can be purchased during the class)-Fabric, patches or materials to sew on the jacket (or use our pre quilted and vintage materials included with the optional class fee)
