Let’s dance, sweat, and feel good together! Join certified Jazzercise instructor and personal trainer Cheryl for free outdoor dance fitness classes in Downtown Minneapolis Parks this summer.

Whether you're brand new to Jazzercise or a longtime fan, these fun, energizing workouts are built to boost your mood, strengthen your body, and get you moving with joy. All fitness levels welcome!

What is Jazzercise?

Jazzercise is a fun, dance-based workout that combines cardio and strength training. Expect upbeat music, easy-to-follow moves, and a lot of energy. All fitness levels welcome.

Do I need to sign up in advance?

Nope! All classes are free and open to the public—just show up and join in.

Are all these classes at Graco Park?

This is a 3-park class series—only one location shows due to platform limits. Join us: • Sun, July 27 – Graco Park, 10am (15 8th Ave NE) • Sat, Aug 2 – Water Works, 9am (425 West River Pkwy) • Sun, Aug 24 – North Loop Park, 10am (751 N 3rd St)

Is this a rain or shine event?

We’ll keep an eye on the weather. If it looks like storms or heavy rain, we’ll post cancellation updates on our social media pages and event listing by 8am the morning of class.

How long is each class?

Each class lasts about 45–50 minutes.

Who’s teaching the class?

Cheryl is a certified Jazzercise instructor and personal trainer who’s been leading group fitness classes since 2017. Cheryl’s workouts are fun, inclusive, and built on joy—not pressure.
