Every First Thursday of the Month 8PM-10PM Prairie Moon hosts its jazz jam session hosted by Clark Sommers on bass, Chase Wilkins on drums, and Brandon Harper on keys.

Musicians bring what you need to jam with these celebrated musicians in the great and welcoming atmosphere of Prairie Moon. Drink and dining specials all night!

Jazz is an improvised art form and jam sessions have been a staple of jazz since the beginning. We highly encourage guests to come see what great musicians sound like when they get together sometimes for the first time and jam.

Prairie Moon restaurant, 1635 Chicago Avenue in Evanston, is proud to offer affordable, top notch jazz every Wednesday night from 9PM – 11PM in downtown Evanston. Prairie Moon is a favorite restaurant in Evanston serving authentic regional American cuisine and is known as Evanston’s original craft beer bar.

Every Wednesday a different jazz group will play from 9PM-11PM. There is an affordable $7 cover, which goes entirely to the musicians and to support Fulton Street Collective.
