Celebrate the power and legacy of American Jazz in an unforgettable open-air setting near the serene banks of Chollas Creek. Now in its 14th season, Jazz at the Creek offers a unique blend of music, culture, and community—supporting STEAM-based mentorship and real-world training in entertainment industry arts and technology for youth and young adults.
This year’s concert brings together a dynamic lineup of international and local talent, delivering two days of world-class performances, exceptional food, upscale vendors, and a laid-back, soulful atmosphere.

- Mandate Project Impact’s STEAM Mentorship & Internship Program empowers young people through mentorship and hands-on STEAM training in entertainment industry arts and technology.
- Community Access, through subsidized tickets for pre-selected individuals and families who may not otherwise be able to attend.
- Healthy Communities, through supporting arts that enrich the lives of underserved communities, promoting unity and progressive history of African American community jazz music, and promoting Mental Health awareness and resources.
MEDIA
ALL MEDIA are required to complete this form in its entirety. A separate application must be submitted by each individual desiring to obtain credentials for this event. All credential applications will be reviewed for approval. Mandate Project Impact requires that journalists be employed by a media organization or a freelance journalist with a strong portfolio of published work to qualify for media credentials. Applicants will be notified of approval.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL- THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. Tickets are for show date only. Non refundable and Non transferable for a new concert date. Non-transferable for attendee on a 2-day pass purchase.
MUST BE 21 years or older to attend.
All bags, whether big or small will be searched including lawn chair carrying cases. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry.
There is no exit and re-entry into the venue.
Pets - No pets allowed inside venue. Venue is not responsible for any pets left outside venue, in a car, unchained or chained to any source. Patrons outside are fully responsible for their pet and any seen / unforeseen circumstances involving them.
Bring your own lawn chair and/or blanket and enjoy the outdoor park environment of America's Finest City. Personal use lawn chairs are permitted with respect to size and design not restricting the view of other patrons. No umbrellas whether attached or detached. No oversized lawn chairs or tents.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the venue. You are permitted to bring in one (1) sealed water bottle, 16oz or less, per person.
Jazz at the Creek offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue. A valid and current Driver License or State ID card is required to purchase alcohol. Guests will be required to show ID every time they purchase.
Camera phones, disposable cameras and small digital cameras are permitted. Absolutely No Drones or Video-Cam recorders are allowed. Shoes, Shirts, and Pants Required!
Conceal Carry Policy - JATC does not allow weapons on the property. Guests shall follow applicable laws regarding securing a weapon in a vehicle if they have it on them when they arrive. The venue will not secure weapons and will take no responsibility for any weapons left in vehicles.
If you find or lose an item while you are at the event, you can visit the front gate Ticket Booth in the Vendor Park to turn in your found item or to see if your lost item has been turned in. You may also call the organizer after the show to check at (858)650-3190.
Smoking is PROHIBITED in the venue.
Marijuana is PROHIBITED inside the venue. All illegal drugs and substances are PROHIBITED inside the venue.
All bicycles must remain outside the venue and in the designated area permitted for bicycles to be parked at the venue location. Skateboards & Skates are not allowed for use inside the venue. Venue is not responsible for storing them or securing them.
The venue is flat with winding sidewalks throughout the grassy areas, accessible from the entry gate. Handicapped porta potties are provided.
There is plenty of FREE parking in the MAIN LOT as well as OVERLFOW parking with SHUTTLE service. SEE maps in the About information.

MPI is a STEAM program. We are Technology and Arts in STEAM, providing arts experiences to the community, arts and technical services for client events and projects, and support to underserved communities in San Diego.
