About McCarty Memorial Christian Church: Founded in 1933 and featured on the National Regsistry of Historic Places, MMCC is a late gothic revival style cathedral nestled in the heart of historic West Adams. The first church in Los Angeles to racially integrate and a hub of civil rights organizing, today MMCC is a multi-racial, multi-generational, affirming faith community dedicated to social justice.
