January Sourdough Bread Making Class
Overview
Step into the kitchen at Wingen Bakery and learn how to make bread at home! Named San Francisco Chronicle's Best Sourdough in the Bay Area - Aimee and Bryan Wingen started as a cottage bakery and expanded to their full-service restaurant over the last 4 years.
In this class you will learn how to:
Maintain a healthy sourdough starter
Mix and proof a batch of bread
Shape a loaf of bread
Turn your home oven into a professional quality oven
How to score and bake your bread
In addition you will get to take home a fresh loaf of bread, instructions on how to make bread at home and your very own sourdough starter to play with.
Each class runs about 2 hours and includes a drink ticket and bread tasting after the class.
