Jammin with Save the Dunes
Sat, June 3, 2017, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM CDT
It's time again for Jammin with Save the Dunes!! Jammin is our signature fundraiser which brings hundreds of dunes lovers to beautiful Washington Park in Michigan City on the Lake Michigan shoreline. The festival features many of our local favorites - local breweries, local wineries and local food. Plus, we have some amazing entertainment with local ties!
We are thrilled to announce this year’s band lineup.
School of Rock Oak Park from Oak Park Illinois will start the day off by entertaining families and kids of all ages.
Then, the Corey Dennison Blues Band will play the blues straight from Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago.
Our evening headliner this year is FREDDY JONES BAND! Lead singer, Marty Lloyd hails from Long Beach, Indiana. He will be bringing his top notch band with him from California to come to our event. Freddy Jones Band is known for it's number one hits "in A Daydream" and "Take the Time". The FJB lineup now consists of Marty, joined by bassist Rich Ross (Josh Gracin, Phil Vassar, The Samples), guitarist Dave Preston (Matt Morris, Justin Timberlake) and former Matchbox 20 drummer Ryan MacMillan.
As in the past, we will feature delicious local grub from a number of food trucks as well as craft beer and wine from many local breweries and wineries (breweries and wineries to be announced soon).
All ages are welcome. Our evnt is FAMILY FRIENDLY. We will have kids activities from 4-6 PM.
Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door. (We are currently offering a membership special. Please see options in the ticket section). Food and beverages are available for an additional cost. Not only is this an amazing deal to see these bands; but, it supports a worthy cause! To learn more about Save the Dunes' efforts, visit www.savedunes.org.
