2018 Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize recipient Martín Espada returns to the Poetry Foundation to read from his latest collection, Jailbreak of Sparrows. Also featuring Chicago poets Carlos Cumpián (Human Cicada) and Faylita Hicks (A Map of My Want) alongside visiting poet Allison Joseph (Dwelling). 

This event is part of the Poetry Foundation’s fall 2025 season, Facing Life.
