About the Experience

Anatomic Frequencies is an immersive sound and visual experience created by composer and artist Jeanine S. Ruiz. This experience invites you to slow down, tune in and reconnect with yourself and the natural world. Drawing from over two decades of musical practice, Jeanine blends Indigenous rhythms, ambient textures and emotional resonance to create a space of reflection, grounding, and presence.

Jeanine is a musical creative who evokes emotional and physical landscapes through sound. Growing up in the multicultural island of Trinidad & Tobago and its neighboring islands in the Caribbean, she was immersed in African, Indian, Latin, French and European influences that has shaped her diverse musical foundation. She has collaborated with notable artists and ensembles serving as musical director and keyboardist, scored and arranged music for the Trinidad & Tobago National Philharmonic Orchestra and composed the soundtrack for two documentary films commissioned by Cornell University that was featured at BlackStar Film Festival 2025.

Jeanine continues to explore the intersection of music and nature, creating soundscapes that connect people to place, culture and emotion.
