It's Tamale Time!
By Kachina Cantina
Overview
Learn to make your very own tamale with Executive Chef Carlos Fierro on December 7th from 1 - 3pm.
A tamale is a traditional Latin American dish made of masa (a dough made from cornmeal) that's usually filled with seasoned meat then wrapped in a corn husk and steamed or baked. Tamales are often made in big batches for holidays or celebrations, and are a truly delicious labor of love!
For our tamale class, Chef Carlos will walk you through the initial tamale-building process so you have your very own to take home, bake, and enjoy!
Tickets are $40 and include all the necessary materials to make your own tamale and a house margarita.
