🎭✨ An Evening of Holiday Magic with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra & District 214 Arts! ✨🎶

On Thursday, December 12, 2025, ForestView will come alive with music, theater, and community spirit as the Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Arlington Heights Community Concert Band, and the Jazz Exchange join forces with District 214’s Performing Arts programs for a one-of-a-kind fundraiser.

The night begins at 7:30 pm with mingling, live music, raffles, and concessions—setting the stage for a festive celebration. At 8:00 pm, audiences will be treated to a radio-style performance of It’s a Wonderful Life, reimagined by Theater Lab Artistic Director John Meyers. Blending classic Old Time Radio scripts with the beloved film, this production offers a fresh, nostalgic twist on a holiday favorite.

Adding to the magic, ensembles from the Northwest Symphony Orchestra—including a Flute Quartet, Cello Quartet, Violin Duet, and Percussion group—will perform throughout the evening, alongside the Arlington Heights Community Concert Band and The Jazz Exchange in fun and exciting ways, to being the magic of The Old Time Radio Show theater to life. Together, these groups showcase the incredible talent and creativity of the District 214 arts community.

This event isn’t just entertainment—it’s a celebration of collaboration and a chance to support the future of the arts. With a suggested $5 donation, proceeds will help fund auditorium improvements, lighting, stage and sound enhancements at ForestView, ensuring that every performing group can shine even brighter.
