The Inner West celebrates reading by hosting an annual reading day with our favourite pelican and pup, Garranga Bumarri and Gadi.

With encouragement to read, talk, sing, rhyme, play, and draw with your little ones to builds baby’s brain.

This inclusive event will have a music mat, play dough, home corner, puppets, craft and stories. We will honour childhood and support the foundations for early literacy.

Please join us at the Pavillion just outside Marrickville Library on 22nd Aug 10-noon for this free event.
