We close our series with a lecture by Naoise Mac Sweeney, Professor of Classical Archaeology in the Institute of Classical Archaeology at the University of Vienna. Mac Sweeny’s research centers on aspects of cultural interaction and identity, with a focus on the ancient Greek world and Anatolia from the Iron Age to the Classical Period. She is the author of Troy: Myth, City, Icon, and The West: A New History in Fourteen Lives.
