Sometimes getting started is the hardest part. In this orientation, we’ll equip you with the knowledge and lingo to start your podcasting journey.

After this orientation, you will know:

• The landscape of podcast makers, distributors, and listeners
• How to identify different podcast styles
• The main things to consider when creating a podcast
• The steps involved in producing podcast episodes
• What tools, gear and software you may need
• How to choose a podcast host and get your podcast in front of listeners
• Why podcast analytics are important for new shows and how to understand the data

Door opens at 6:00 PM, event starts at 6:30 PM. This is an in-person event and will not be livestreamed. We ask that all guests of the Podcast Garage are fully vaccinated. Registration is required.
