There are so many cheap kenzan on websites. Which should I purchase.

Always get a very high quality Japanese BRASS Long needle kenzan at least over 3 inches to 4 inches in diameter.  The floral material must stand upright in a Japanese style container so a large heavy Kenzan pin frog with tight brass needles is really advisable.  It is essential for the class.

Are the classes in English. I went to a Denver class that the instructor had really bad English

All classes are conducted by a native English speaker with clear handouts and drawings on a display board.  Classes are in clear concise English and all Japanese principles are described in English.
