Invasive Control Workday

Come join us for a day of invasive species control at the Rogue River State Game Area!

We'll be working to control Autumn Olive—a fast-spreading invasive shrub that threatens prairies, savannas, and open woods across Michigan. We’ll cut and treat Autumn Olive to prevent regrowth within the Rogue River. The North Country Trail Association – Western Michigan Chapter will be joining us to lend a hand! A major section of the North country trail runs right through the Rogue River State Game Area, making this work especially important to help protect the trail’s natural corridor.

Tools and guidance will be provided—just bring your energy and love for the outdoors! We’ll meet in the parking lot on 20 Mile Rd. (43.26393, -85.69875). Parking may be limited, so feel free to park along the road if needed.

We hope to see you there!
