Please join us for an interactive Q&A session with Eddy Chan and Patrick Yip, co-founders of Intudo Ventures. Intudo Ventures is an “Indonesia-only” independent venture capital firm with a concentrated portfolio approach. Portfolio includes: Xendit, Halodoc, TaniHub and Kargo.

The team has invested in dozens of prominent early-stage companies in Indonesia, Silicon Valley and North Asia since the 1990s, including PayPal, SpaceX, Palantir Technologies, Go-Jek, and SEA Limited.

On a global scale, the firm has guided leading institutions based in the United States, North Asia and other Southeast Asia countries to strategize their approach in the ever growing Indonesian market. Locally, the firm has helped consult major Indonesian conglomerates in their long-term digital transformation campaigns.

Speaker Bios

Eddy Chan is venture investor who has invested in and advised startups since the late 1990s, including PayPal, SpaceX, Palantir Technologies, Branch International, Netscreen Technologies, Fortinet, invested in venture funds including Founders Fund, founded and operated venture-backed technology companies with operations in Silicon Valley and Asia, practiced corporate/M&A/private equity/venture capital law in Silicon Valley and Asia at Morrison & Foerster LLP and represented companies as an investment banker.

Patrick Yip, prior to co-founding Intudo Ventures, was the Managing Director of Gemala Sarana Wiyata (GSW), an Indonesian based private equity investment firm founded in 2011 that acted as the local partner for Goldman Sachs Investment Partners (GSIP), a US$10 billion multi-strategy investment fund managed by Goldman Sachs. From 2007 to 2011, he was the Head of Strategic Planning Group at the CP Prima (part of the Charoen Pokphand Group), where he advised shareholders on private equity investments and corporate finance matters for the family's investment portfolio companies in Indonesia. Prior to that, he was at UBS Investment Bank (Corporate Finance) and GE Capital (M&A) in Jakarta; and Morgan Stanley (Investment Management) in Boston.
