What ages is this class suitable for?

As this class involves significant use of some of the largest power tools in our shop, this class is limited to ages 18+ (16+ with a parental waiver).

Do I need to sign a liability waiver?

All visitors coming to Open Workshops for the first time must sign a liability waiver prior to entering the shop. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

What if I'm new to the subject?

Not a problem! We'll start from the basics and work up, including a safety briefing on each piece of equipment and hands-on practice guided by an instructor.

Do I need to bring any tools or supplies?

Nope! We'll supply all required materials, tools, and supplies for the workshop. You are welcome to bring your own PPE if you have safety glasses, hearing protection, or a respirator, but we have plenty to borrow if you don't!
