About this event

Please note that anyone who orders food or drinks at any venue where our games are hosted will need to pay for what they order before leaving the venue. Also, any door fees or stay and play fees will need to be paid by each individual person before leaving the venues. If you can't afford to order anything, you can ask the servers for free water and eat or drink anything else at home before or after the games.

These events may have a wait list if all the seats are full. If you can't attend, please update your attendance to let someone on the wait list have a seat.

This game is a stand-alone introductory D&D 5e adventure. This low level game is aimed at welcoming new players into the D&D world, experienced players can also join the action with their very own level 1 character.

For anyone who is new to D&D, you won't need to go shopping to try playing at these introductory tables, the Wizards.com web site provides free electronic versions of everything a new player needs. We can share books, dice and mini's around the table as needed, all we ask is that anything borrowed is returned.

All ages are welcome, minors must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

When you arrive at the venue, please ask the staff which tables are for the D&D group. Also, note that no food or drinks can be brought into these venues and there may be door fees.

For anyone who wants to create or pre-print their own character before arriving at the game, races, classes, backgrounds, equipment, etc, can be from any of the 5e books published by Wizards. Starting stats are point buy or standard array on page 13 of the Players Handbook.

Anyone who wants to try being a DM is welcome to let us know, we can set you up to share DMing at one of these low level games.

Any players who want to join an ongoing campaign after trying the introductory games are welcome to find out if any tables have space for someone new to join by talking with people around the room or posting a message in our online spaces.

Most of our tables have regular players in ongoing campaigns. There is usually space somewhere for a new player, but there might be a waiting list if you want to join an established table. If all of the tables are full when you check, we are a very dynamic group and seats may open up, so please check again in a few weeks.

If no seats are open at our established tables, we can help you to start being a dm at your own table. You can also start a table where each player takes a turn dming a session. Let us know if you need a hand with that.

Please remember to reserve a ticket with each event that you plan to attend. A ticket is needed to guarantee your spot in case there is a waiting list. Also, please cancel your ticket if it turns out that you can't make it to the game to allow someone waiting for a seat to have a turn. For these introductory games, we also use the rsvp system to plan how many dms will need to be onsite when the game starts. Even though there is only 1 event for each introductory game session, players may need to split up between multiple tables as the games start.

Let us know if you have any questions.
