Overview

Join us for an introduction in three types of welding.

Experienced welders and fabricators Tim Pilewski and Keenan Phillips (cool dudes, not bro dudes) will take you through a half hour of safety training and then get right to business showing you how to make sparks fly.

Stations will be setup for the 3 types of welding covered:

  • MIG (Metal w/ Inert Gas)
  • FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding)
  • Stick (the oldest school)

and plenty of scrap material will be available for attempting to join as you like and you may take it home.

TIG WELDING AND METAL PREP WILL NOT BE COVERED.


Safety Notes: Attendees must be 18+. ALL CLOTHING WORN DURING THE CLASS MUST BE COMPLETELY NON-SYNTHETIC, NON FLAMMABLE. DENIM, WOOL, LEATHER. Welding gloves and auto darkening helmets will be provided. Participants SHOULD bring their own hat (no open surfaces) and wear a long sleeve shirt with a close fitting collar and pants that cover the tops of their shoes.
