About this event

VCarve is a powerful and versatile software for the CNC, but it can be overwhelming for beginners. In this class, we will show you how to get started with VCarve and give you an overview of its essential features. We will take you through the process of setting up the software and give you a tour of its interface. We'll also show you how to use VCarve's design tools, how to prepare your design for engraving and cutting, and how to use the software to control you CNC machine. Whether you're new to VCarve or just looking to refresh your skills, this class will give you the information you need to get started with the software.

Frequently asked questions

Are there any age restrictions for this class?

This class requires the use of power tools, which requires the attendee to be 14 years or older. Attendees below 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire class. If a parent or legal guardian is required to attend, only 1 ticket is required.

Do I need any safety equipment or special clothing?

Safety glasses or face shields, hearing protection, gloves, and dust respirators will be provided free of charge as needed. No loose clothing should be worn, long sleeves should be rolled up, long hair should be tied back. No open-toed shoes can be worn during classes.

I'm interested in a class that is not scheduled, do you offer custom classes based on my interests?

If you are interested in a private class, custom class tailored to your specific needs, or a special group class, please call your local store and speak directly to a Manager. We'll do our very best to meet your requirements while providing a great experience.
