About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Join us for an engaging, interactive session where we will consider the definition and prevalence of trauma, explore the health outcomes of chronic stress, and learn about Trauma Informed Care. Attendees will not only deepen their understanding of the ways trauma impacts the brains, bodies, and behaviors of those they serve, they will also explore their own vulnerability to trauma. Together, we will consider trauma-sensitive ways to support resilience for our clients and ourselves.

This training provides three (3) contact hours, CEU applicable for most professions.

This session is being made available at no charge through the Mid-America Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC), funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
