Have you ever wanted to learn how to create your own enameled metal beads & pendants? This hands-on workshop with certified Painting with Fire instructor, Laura Guenther will have you making torch-fired enamel jewelry in no time! We will work with copper and filigree beads, using small torches to deposit colorful glassy layers on the surface. This intensive introduction workshop will include safety, technique, setting up your own bead station at home, and Laura’s tips and tricks after years of experience working with immersion enameling. You will leave with a handful of custom beads to create your next jewelry or keychain masterpiece.

About the instructor:
Laura Guenther is a mixed media artist living in Greensboro, N.C.
She pleased to bring Painting with Fire, a torch fired enamel technique by Barbara Lewis, to the Triad. Laura is the first certified teacher of the technique, visiting Barbara at her Florida studio in 2012.
