Description

Using examples of report and SQL script writing, as well as using data maps, this course will cover detailed data structure in key areas of Gallery Systems products—including Locations, Constituents, inter module linking, Media, etc.—and how that is reflected on the front end of the application. The course will also cover basic relational database concepts.

Audience

This course is suitable for people with prior experience in report writing (CR or SSRS) or working knowledge of TSQL, as well as Gallery System’s products (TMS for Windows or Web Applications).

Prerequisites

Good knowledge and prior experience in report writing (CR or SSRS) or working knowledge of TSQL. Prior experience with Gallery Systems products (TMS for Windows or Web Applications, like TMS Collections).

Gain a good understanding of the data structure and data structure principles of Gallery Systems products.

The online version of this workshop has been designed with a hands-on approach. For an optimal learning experience, we strongly recommend the following setup:

• A strong internet connection
• 1 monitor for viewing the training [a computer or a large tablet]
• 1 computer monitor for working in your TMS database
• A hands-free phone or a headset
• Ability to use remote desktop (MAC users will need app from Mac App Store)
