Overview

We invite you to join with other seekers to learn some essential Theosophical concepts in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Wednesdays, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CT

March 11 – May 13 (10 classes)

We invite you to join with other seekers to learn some essential Theosophical concepts in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Participants will engage with the content of each class through meditation, discussion, and practical application. Classes are successive, so we encourage participants to attend the whole series or watch the recordings of previous classes.

  • Week 7: The Seven Principles in the Cosmos and the Human Being
  • Week 8: The Process of Death and Rebirth
  • Week 9: Dharma: The Law of our Best Being
  • Week 10: The Awakening of Spiritual Consciousness

Registrants will receive on-demand access to recording(s) that can be viewed for four weeks following the conclusion of the program, as well as further resources for individual study.

Barbara Hebert, Ph.D., is a third-generation Theosophist who has been involved in local, regional, and national offices throughout her years of membership, including two terms as the National President of the Theosophical Society in America. She has also had a long career as a mental health practitioner and educator.

Juliana Cesano was an active young Theosophist from Argentina. Born into a Theosophical family, she became a member of the Theosophical Society in 1996. After volunteering for two years at the International Headquarters in Chennai, India, she moved to the United States, where she currently serves as Member Education Director and National Secretary of the Theosophical Society in America. As an international speaker for the Theosophical Society (Adyar), she shares her insights in programs and retreats around the world.

Ananya Sri Ram has been a student of Theosophy since 1983 and incorporates theosophical principles into her practice as a licensed therapist. Past president of the Theosophical Order of Service, USA, she currently serves as the director of the Krotona School in Ojai, California.

Justin Tanksley is a member of the staff at the National Center of the Theosophical Society in America. He is a board member of the Theosophical Order of Service and an organizer for the Young Adult Theosophists in America. He leads an in-person Roundtable Discussion and is a co-facilitator of the Virtual Study Centers.

Christopher Howard is a longtime volunteer and member of the Theosophical Society in America. He is also a member of the Wheaton-Olcott lodge and serves as a co-facilitator of the Virtual Study Centers. Christopher is a lifelong musician with over 40 years of experience as a guitarist, music minister, and songwriter, blending his deep love of sound with contemplative practice.

This is a live, interactive online program that will also be recorded. Registrants will receive on-demand access to recording(s) that can be viewed for four weeks following the conclusion of the program.
